‘It’s heartbreaking’: Family mourns death of Wichita business advocate

Jonathan Grant Sanchez, 40, went home to heaven Thursday, January 20, 2022. Jonathan was a graduate of Friends University and achieved a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MMIS), is CEO and Co-Founder of Ember Enterprises, and Chairman for the Wichita Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.  Jonathan was very active in the Wichita business community.  Jonathan is survived by his wife of 12 years Bonnie Sanchez; sons, Sawyer and Logan Sanchez; parents, John and Sussi Sanchez; and brother, Jeremy Sanchez, niece Olivia “Ohs” Sanchez, and grandmothers Gay Rowsey and Marie Ruthardt.  He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Gilbert Sanchez and Elgie Rowsey. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 am, Thursday, January 27, at NewSpring Church North Auditorium, 12200 E. 21st St. N., with viewing one hour prior to services.
